Vertex Designs Limited Warranty
This Limited Warranty, provided by Vertex Designs, covers defects in materials and workmanship in new Vertex Designs products. This warranty is extended to the original purchaser and may be transferable to subsequent property owners in accordance with the procedures outlined below.
Warranty coverage applies exclusively to products supplied by Vertex Designs or its authorized representatives. This warranty is subject to the terms, limitations, exclusions, and conditions detailed in this document.
Warranty Periods
Structural Components, 15 Years
All primary structural elements, including beams, posts, louvers, frames, and gutters, are covered for fifteen (15) years from the date of delivery.
This warranty applies to defects in materials or workmanship under normal use, environmental conditions, and proper maintenance.
Powder Coating Finish, 15 Years
All aluminum components and structural supports finished with electrostatic powder coating are warranted against chipping, peeling, or blistering for fifteen (15) years from the date of delivery under normal outdoor conditions.
In high-corrosion environments (including coastal areas, ports, or locations exposed to chemical vapors or excessive humidity), the warranty period for powder coating is reduced to ten (10) years.
This warranty covers defects in material or workmanship only and does not cover natural weathering, fading, or environmental discoloration over time
Electrical Components
Control units: 2 years
Motors: 5 years
LED lighting, cables, and electrical accessories: 2 years
Coverage begins from the date of delivery and applies to defects in materials or workmanship under standard operating conditions.
Fabric Elements, 5 Years
All fabric components are covered for five (5) years from the date of delivery against manufacturing defects in materials or workmanship, provided the product is used and maintained under normal conditions.
Mechanical & Moving Parts, 5 Years
All mechanical and moving parts are covered for five (5) years from the date of delivery against defects in materials or workmanship.
Warranty validity is subject to proper use, handling, and regular maintenance by the purchaser. Failure to properly maintain the product may void coverage on mechanical components.
Warranty Exclusions
This Limited Warranty does not cover:
Since Vertex Designs does not provide installation services, this warranty does not cover any damage, defects, or failures resulting from improper installation, structural modifications, or incorrect assembly performed by third parties.
The warranty does not guarantee complete weather-tight performance under extreme weather conditions.
Before major storms or extreme weather events:
Screens must be rolled up
Retractable roofs must be fully opened
Louvers must be placed in a fully open (90-degree) position
Failure to follow these precautions may result in warranty voidance.
In the event of product discontinuation, Vertex Designs reserves the right to replace discontinued items with products of comparable functionality, quality, or value.
Under no circumstances shall Vertex Designs’s liability exceed the original purchase price of the product.
Normal wear and tear
Improper installation by third parties
Inadequate or improper maintenance
Misuse, abuse, negligence, or accidents
Modifications or unauthorized alterations
Damage caused by third-party accessories or materials not supplied by Vertex Designs
Corrosion caused by harsh chemical exposure
Natural disasters, storms, flooding, earthquakes, fire, explosions, or other force majeure events
Environmental factors including salt corrosion, chemical fumes, or extreme atmospheric conditions
Minor aesthetic changes such as fading, chalking, or discoloration due to weather exposure
Warranty Claim Process
To submit a warranty claim:

First Step
The claim must be reported within 30 days of discovering the potential defect.

Second Step
- The customer must provide:
- 1.A copy of the Sales Agreement or Invoice.
- 2.A detailed written description of the issue.
- 3.Supporting photos or videos (if applicable).
Vertex Designs must be given a reasonable opportunity to review the claim before any repair work is undertaken.
Unauthorized repairs or alterations performed prior to evaluation may void the warranty.
After review, Vertex Designs will determine the appropriate solution within 30 days, which may include:
Replacement of the defective part
Supplying a replacement component at no additional cost
Care & Maintenance Instructions
Proper care ensures long-term performance and aesthetics of your Vertex Designs product.
General Cleaning
- 1.Rinse surfaces using a garden hose and clean water.
- 2.Use a soft cloth or soft-bristle brush.
- 3.Clean from top to bottom.
- 4.Rinse thoroughly after washing.
Deeper Cleaning
- 1.Use warm water with mild detergent (such as dish soap).
- 2.Avoid harsh chemicals.
- 3.Rinse completely after cleaning.
Mold or Mildew Removal
- 1.Use a diluted solution of one part bleach to four parts water.
- 2.Apply carefully and rinse thoroughly afterward.
Do not use !
Abrasive cleaners or scrubbing compounds
Acids such as acetic, oxalic, or phosphoric acids above 0.5% concentration
High-pressure washers
Any concentration of hydrochloric or sulfuric acid
Highly alkaline or aggressive chemical cleaners
